Word of Life, Nigeria is a missionary organization with a vision to help Every young person take their next step with Jesus. Our Mission is the evangelization and discipleship of youth through various means consistent with the Holy Scriptures to strengthen and build up the church of Jesus Christ.
We have been serving young people in different parts of Nigeria for the past 25 years. We achieve this through active discipleship of young people and offering trainings to Pastors & Leaders within organizations to equip them with the requisite skills and strategies to effectively impact and serve young people.
Our ministry focuses on equipping the local church (LCM) by providing curriculum, training, resources, and youth events to evangelize and disciple youth. We are dedicated to helping the local church evangelize and disciple young people.

Camping Ministry
We offer fun, high-energy camping experiences that help young people take the next step in their walk with Jesus. Our camps are carefully planned with exciting activities, Bible-based teaching, and powerful experiences for all ages. Wherever you join us in any of our ministry locations, our camps offer engaging programming, fun activities, powerful worship, unique Biblical teaching, discipleship, & a caring environment.
Bible Club
We help churches, schools, and communities set up bible clubs & service them by providing curriculum, training, & resources to the youth workers running them. We coach on the principles & practices that help in building a thriving & sustainable bible club.
Leadership Development & Coaching
We provide leadership training and one-on-one coaching with youth ministry workers & leaders. We achieve this by organizing trainings, conferences, youth workers summits and scheduling church visitations. Our passion is to help churches throughout the country develop dynamic & sustainable children and youth ministries that advance the gospel.
Fulani Ministry
Fulanis and Hausa are one of the people groups spread all around West Africa and have some degree of social influence throughout the sub-region. We have a vision to evangelize every Fulani in our subregion in partnership and directly from our ministry activities. We are achieving this by rural outreaches & discipleship training of converts.
Evangelistic Outreach
We are committed to fulfilling the Great Commission by boldly proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ and directly challenging people to respond in faith. We are achieving this through trips to rural communities & efforts in urban centers like go-share, lead the cause, concerts, gospel production, teens hub etc.
Volunteer Training & Development
We are committed to serving our volunteers by developing them in their areas of calling as they serve. We train our volunteers to be responsible for the emotional, spiritual, and physical safety of every youth attending our ministry event, creating a fun, safe, engaging environment.
Elementary School
We run an elementary school that is focused on training, educating and equipping children with knowledge beyond locality that spurs from biblical truth that never changes, which is relevant to each developmental stage. Our mission is to ensure every child is equipped with thorough and unabridged education in arts, social sciences and science.
Our Leadership
Statement of Faith
- 1We believe that the Scriptures of the Old and New Testament are verbally inspired of God, and they are without error in the original writings, and they are the supreme and final authority for faith and life.
- 2We believe in one God, Creator and Sustainer of the universe, Who is eternally existent in three persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
- 3We believe in the Deity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, sinless life, His death to pay the penalty for everyone’s sins, His bodily resurrection, His exaltation at God’s right hand. We believe Christ will take His Church to heaven before the seven-year tribulation, after which He will physically return to earth to establish His 1000-year-reign prior to the new heaven and new earth.
- 4We believe that all have sinned and are therefore guilty before God and are under His condemnation.
- 5We believe that all who by faith receive Jesus Christ are born again of the Holy Spirit, therefore children of God and eternally saved, and that the Holy Spirit dwells within every believer to enlighten, guide, and enable the believer in life, testimony, and service. We believe that God answers the prayers of His people and meets their needs according to His purpose.
- 6We believe that God gives spiritual gifts to all believers for the building up of the body of Christ. However, the miraculous sign-gifts of the Spirit, such as tongues and healings, were limited to the early church. We also believe that God may miraculously intervene in the affairs of humanity anytime to accomplish His purposes and to manifest His glory.
- 7We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and unjust, the everlasting blessedness of the saved in Glory and the everlasting conscious punishment of the lost in hell.
- 8We believe that all believers are called to a life of separation from all worldly and sinful practices and alliances.
- 9We believe that from the beginning with Adam and Eve, God ordained marriage as only between one man and one woman. All sexual activity outside of this biblical definition of marriage, including homosexual practices, is in direct contradiction to God’s Word and His intention for the institution of the home.
- 10We believe that God wonderfully and immutably creates each person as male or female for His glory. These two distinct, complementary genders together reflect the image and nature of God, and the rejection of one’s biological gender is a rejection of God’s decreed will and good plan for humanity and the individual.
- 11Since every person is uniquely created in the image of God and formed by God, we hold to the sanctity of all human life. Since the Bible reflects that life begins at conception and lasts beyond death into eternity, God calls everyone to value, respect, defend, and protect all human life regardless of age or condition.
