STEPHEN BAHAGO

PROFILE
Biography
Stephen accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at the age of nine under the guidance of his father. He grappled with the challenges that often accompany being the child of a clergyman and veered off the path of faith during his high school years. It was in the twelfth grade, in the year 1994, that Stephen earnestly recommitted himself to God. Throughout his formative years, he was blessed with a nurturing and loving family environment, where mutual respect and empathy were valued.
Subsequently, Stephen pursued a comprehensive, four-year education in biblical studies at Kagoro Bible School in Kaduna. He served as a youth pastor within his church community for three years, all the while studying to attain his degree in Christian education at the Seminary. This period of service enabled Stephen to cultivate a deep understanding of Christian principles and their application in everyday life.
Following his time at the Seminary, Stephen embarked on a new chapter of his journey, providing his services to a secondary school in Jos as a house parent, teacher, and Christian counselor. This multifaceted role allowed Stephen to apply his Christian education in a practical setting and support young people in navigating the challenges of adolescence while nurturing their spiritual growth.
Stephen’s dedication to his faith and his commitment to serving others led him to join the esteemed community of Word of Life in 2006, where he continues to spread the message of God’s love and compassion to those around him.
